Best gaming pc for price

Alienware is pretty good. Though a bit overpriced. Falcon PC's are good. And not bad for the price.

But you're best option. Would be to build you're own PC. It's fun, cheaper, and you get a lot of knowledge out of it. Have any experience in computer hardware?

itd probably still be cheaper to buy all your own parts, and pay someone to put them together for you if you dont

heck, you can re-use your case, power supply, optical drives, use your hard drive as a secondary storage drive, etc. etc.

Yeah Alienware comes up with some decent stuff but they charge you for it. If you go with Alienware for $1600 you'll likely end up with an Area 51 7500 with no upgrades which would mean a great processor, the E6400, but it'll have a 7900GS which is a soild video card but not $1,600 good. Can I make a suggestion if you want a pre-built computer...buy something like an HP with a good processor and then install a power supply and the video card of your choice yourself. You might end up with a better processor/graphics card combo for less money then if you bought a pre-made gaming machine because you'd have the flexability of picking the card yourself.

Man plz don't recommend prebuilt computers like HP, u can't even overclock on them. they lock eveything. and the boards are just crap(mobo), if ur gona buy the computer and then swap the psu, graphic's and everything that just defeates the point of a prebuilt computer.

I'd deffinately say DIY, if u donno how then I'd say learn, if u dont wana do that either then pick the parts and pay someone to build it(if u donno what are good parts just ask on the forums). Then if u must buy a prebuilt computer go with something that's made for gaming like alienware or Falcon deffinately not HP or dell. I'd say of the 2 Falcon are better they build some pretty decent machines. but nothing compared to self built ones. u can customise it to ur needs.

Build your own. You can get much better parts, and choose from alot more parts then if you buy a pre-built. Not to mention it's cheaper.

And, if you don't think you can, just ask around, or get a local guy to build one for you, and pay the $50 charge or something.
