Hi

Could u guys help me find the best GPU for around 200 Pounds. It will mostly be used for gaming and running a tv and possibly a second screen.

thanks

9xxx series should be fine thank you, initial testing at the shop were doing great on a single 9800GTX (especially the OC'ing of the part).

....and void the warranty! lol

Both are good. It's the matter of if you want to be bothered to do it or not.

Well overclocking anything will result in a shorter lifespan so I don't know about that one.

You don't actually raise the voltage when OC'ing a video card (unless you volt mod it). You may get a little bit increased heat, but you stick the fan speed up, and it doesn't make a difference.

So, Like I said, there isn't actually anything to lose.

The lifespan is way longer than you'll ever use it, even shortened by overclock, it's still gonna be really old before it dies, you'll probably had moved on by then.

probably? definetely. there is almost nil chance of breaking it by overclocking, unless your an absolute retard. and im not sure about voiding warranties either, i called eVGA and they said that if i keep my card at 700/999 then they will allow it.

It's not as if they can tell you've OC'ed a card either, as it's all done in Windows. When they put it in a new computer, no OC will be applied...

ah, so r u saying id b better off getting the 8800GTS with 500MB and then OC it myself?
Is it eay toOC the GPUs?¿
So from what u all say, its ALL ABT the 8800GTS!?!¿?!
