Best Graphics Card for Mid-to-High Gaming PC

an ATi card would be better on a lowish budget like the op has, they give more power for the price, except for the very high end cards like 285 or 295

thanks for all of the replies. by the way matthew1990, i will obviously upgrade my tv to something much bigger down the road. the 22" is just for right now. if i had the money i would upgrade now but don't. i am thinking i will go with the hd 4850. seems like a very good card and good for the price as well. thanks again for all of the replies.

I wouldn't buy a 4850 unless you can get one for $120 or less...atleast. A 4870 can be had for $135 and is much better than a 4850.
