That is DDR3 RAM which can only be used with Phenom II AM3 processors, i7, and core 2 quads and that is if he uses the right motherboard. Secondly 4GB is enough for anything and just because he says he is willing to spend a hundred on RAM does not mean the whole $100 needs to be spent. I can tell you don't really know what your talking about and you don't know much about compatibility of computer components so it's probably best if you don't post in thread that you know nothing about. I don't mean to sound harsh or anything but you really don't won't to recommend the wrong product to somebody then it will be your fault when they get it and it doesn't work.
