Best internet browser for a guy with 1000+ tabs?

After a thousandth crash with loss of tabs and nearly punching a hole through the goshdarn monitor I'm finally fed up with Firefox and I'm curious as to what would be the best alternative to replace the useless fox with.

I'm the kind of guy who ends up with a 1000 tabs so the most important criteria would be whether it can manage that kind of a load without crashes, and also tab management. By tab management all I need is a nice dropdown list of the kind Firefox has. Amazingly I've not been able to find one that really works well for Chrome.

So what would be the best option? I can't use the latest Internet Explorer since I'm on Windows XP and Chrome, in my experience, is a memory hole, the damn things is just useless.

I have probably about 800 tabs right now on Pale Moon.
Usually about once a day I log out to get the RAM cleaned out.
Just watch your memory usage and when it gets near full just log out and back in.
Note: I only have 4 gigs of RAM right now, too cheap to upgrade this comp.

Do this below it will help even with FF

Go to Tools > Options > General and set this setting

Also in the Tabs tab, this will keep them from fully loading until you click on them (saves on memory usage).

I'm curious why anyone would load hundreds of tabs in a browser. I visit many sites thru out the day but I don't open separate tabs for all of them. If I need to re-visit a site, I just click on it's bookmark again. I rarely exceed 10 tabs open at once, even then I go back and close tabs that I am not currently using.

What is the purpose of opening 800 tabs in your browser? (Heck, I don't even have 800 sites bookmarked!)

The reasons are wide and varied.
I have many interests so I have several windows open with lots of tabs on each.
I have at least 100 tabs open on fleabay for things I am watching and since they are temporary I see no point to bookmark them just to have them go dead.
I have many forums open in various fields: welding, machining, farming, electronics, politics etc.
I have tabs open on things I am researching and it is easier just to have it tabbed than sort through bookmarks for something I will have no use for in a short period of time.

Also, because I can. :D

Why don't you just put them on the watch list? I start panicking after I have over 5 tabs lol
Because that means I have to sign in and I only sign in if I am going to buy/bid.
I do most of my surfing by mouse and use the k/b as little as possible.
I do not store passwords in windows and rely on cookies for forums.

I have a similar problem, one semi-solution I found is using Session Manager in Chrome. When my browser gets overloaded I just save the tabs and close them all, then reopen them later when I have time to go through them.
