Hi everyone. I was just wondering what the best MotherBoard is for around $100.00 +/- $15.00. I was looking at MSI, ASUS, or Gigabyte or Abit. Thanks everyone.

Oops, Sorry. It's a (LGA) 775 (Intel). It will be for moderate video-editing, and just every-day stuff. Thanks a lot.

I have to say Asus is probably the best. I like Abit (but a lot of people don't) and Gigabyte has been known to make some weird stuff (not saying its bad, its weird) and I'm not sure how good MSIs intel stuff is.

Generally ASUS sets the bar for their Intel boards with ABit being generally right behind (although again, issues with their quality control, which ive not encountered myself, tend to be common complaints)

HEy everyone. I think I've finally decided on this one. ASUS P5GPL. Hopefully that's a good one. I look forward to putting it all together....
Thanks,
Derek

that is a pci-e board, nor does it have onboard graphics (i dont think), so you when you choose a graphics card make sure you get a pci-e card and not agp

No the 915P doesn't have a graphics core, provided you aren't gaming something like an x300 or GeForce 6200 are both inexpensive addin video options. If you want an onboard look at a 915G based board (or a 945G but those will cost a lot more, and they use DDR2 and might not be to market yet..)
