Best MP3 Players

That sounds about right, I've never heard of that one... may not be available where I live... what features does it have?

What is the best MP3 Player?

I have an iPod Video 40GB and I like that it works for me...

Whats your favourite?

are you sure your not talking about the 4th gen non-video? I have never seen a 40GB video ipod, there is-30,60, and 80 gb
I own the 80gb and really like it

i can play audiobooks, songs, sdcard, and its 512m. im selling it though, bcuz im getting a phone that is an all in one camera, phone, and mp3 player. gotta love all in one!!!

Zen Vision:M kills all, in my opinion. Subscription music, more colorful screen, more codecs, longer battery life, cheaper, but sadly there are not as many accessories.

It is sad how many people don't realize that there are competitors to the Ipod. I am not saying the Ipod is bad, just that there are other options.

I have a 2GB Sony and I must say I'm quite pleased with it... For it's size(average USB memory stick size) it's got pretty darn good sound and many more features than an iShuffle(such as an FM radio). My only gripe would be the software required to load the songs. However, I guess most are going that way with copy protection and all...

Depends on what you want. If you have money and don't mind size, then of course an iPod kicks butt. If you want slightly smaller, the Nano again. RCA Lyra 4GB is a great mp3 player in that size range that offers alot of space for its money. If you're serious about running, the Creative Zen Nano 512/1gb is very small, uses just a AAA battery, and has alot of features packed into it. I couldn't do the shuffle...no screen. Even a tiny LCD readout is needed for a person like me.

i've been real happy with my 1st gen iPod shuffle. I only use it in my car so it works great. So don't need to be fumbling through menus to find a song, i just put it on shuffle and go.

i have a sansa e250 2gb the screen is very soft but the back is virtualy indestructible it plays vids at 15 fps pictures radio music
you can add a mini sd card but you can only put music on it

I have a 2nd Gen. iPod Mini, its too bad that they discontinued them, their pretty much better than the Nano by a long shot! Im not a big fan of having something pretty much weightless in my hands :)

Generally speaking most Apple Ipods, Sony mp3 players and creative mp3 players are pretty good for sound quality and reliability, but going off at a tangent have any of you guys tried sony's noise cancellation ear phones, if you havent yet tried them you really dont know what you're missing the quality of the bass is excellent.

All in one

Yeah the ones that are all in one are handy but of course the sound quality with those are up there yet but not as good as the ones dedicated to playing mp3's.
With dedication comes quality!
