best NON-customized comp

umm, check like dell and alienware, but personally a friend of mine had a royal pain in the ass for like 3 months with an alienware laptop so I don't like them too much

Here is why alienware sucks.

There cheapest desktop computer is $819 after $100 MIR.
You get Athlon™ 64 3200+ (cost at store $141)
Microsoft® Windows® XP Home Edition (Cost at store $54)
256MB ram ($20)
80GB 7200rpm 8mb Cache ($53.00)
16x DVD-ROM Drive ($18)
nForce™4 SLI™ Chipset Motherboard ($100)
NVIDIA® GeForce™ 6200TC ($54.00)
Basic keyboard ($10)
Basic Mouse ($5)
Tower ($40)

If you were to buy the parts and made it your self then it would only cost you $495. You buy a name not a quality machine. There desktop costs $919, but because it around christmas they have a rebate. Without the rebate you could make two of these computers.

this is true yet some people don't have the slightest clue what ram actually is let alone where it actually goes. also they may not have the time to put one together. w/e the reason they feel like spending twice the amt that they have to. but i agree that it would be much easier and cost friendly to just make it yourself..

as for the original poster, a good non-customized computer is the voodoo omen elemental. lol it will set u back around 15k US but its got 2 top of the line 7800gtx inside and a 24k gold plated case lol.

check out voodoo's or alienware. However after seeing the prices for a custom build compared to those it would be incredibly painful for me to see anyone with one.

check like dell and alienware
Those are customizable

You buy a name not a quality machine.
Did you just suggest that the machine isnt quality?

check out voodoo's or alienware
Those are customizable as well

As for non-customizable ... i dont know if they exist anymore ... all makes have customizability to a degree ... the last time i saw noncustomizability was with whitebox machines (but that obviously doesnt count)
