Best Nvidia for 300 watts?

I need a new video card that can do good with 300 watts power supply. I need it to be not ATI because in Ati i can only use it when i set it to 4x or else it crashes. Can anyone give any suggestions?

And why are you limited to ATI? You can run ATI cards at 4x. Though I seriously doubt that's the problem.

For some reason my games crash with 8x , keep getting the VPU recover thing and then asks me to restart pc. It doesnt happen when i switch it to 4x. I would get ATI if i knew it wouldnt be a problem, but someone said that the problem was with my ATI and Motherboard ( or processor) thats why 8x dont work he said
