best os

best os???

My favorite: Linux - SuSe. With a little help from Cedega I have my SuSe drive absolutely whoopin' my XP drive in...everything (including, and particularly, gaming). Granted it does take a whole lot more footwork, but I far prefer Linux over XP. XP, in general, doesn't quite do it for me (in fact, I'm so disgusted with it that I'm going back to good ol' 98SE for my Windows drive).
 
i never used mac or linux, so i can't talk about them
between winxp and win98 i choose winxp, i think winxp pro with sp2 is the best os from microsoft, win98 is too old , very few people who still use it.

windows 3.1 :confused: what is good about it, i can't believe that some people still like windows 3.1 and ms-dos, are u kidding ??
go with windows xp or wait for windows vista they will blow up all other os

Were you lucky enough to actually use Winodws 3.1 before? I played all of the top games of that era.... had many, many windows open at the same time all on a 486 piece of junk and my machine NEVER crashed. IT was wonderful. And the program manager was great... for some reason it looked exactly like the Mac OS :rolleyes: ..

as for the last standalone MS-DOS version... It was so much "fun" to use. :cool: I wonder how many people also like Linux command lne....
