Ok, guys I'm getting close to a final decision.

Here's what it's looking like:

I took some of Jet's suggestions and some of 34erd.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400
DFI INFINITY 975X Socket T
G.Skill 2x1GB DDR2 800 or OCZ Gold 2GB DDR2 667 Which is better?
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB SATA2 16MB cache
EVGA 7900GT KO
Hiper HPU-4K580-MS 580w
Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic
Lite-on 16X DVD+-RW Burner with Lightscribe

Optiquest by Viewsonic Q9b-2 19" LCD 8ms Looks good but NO DVI. Any suggestions?

The G.Skill kit is "better", but if you're not overclocking you might as well go with a cheaper set.

Hey Jet, after a lot of debating with myself I decided to go with your suggestion and I got everything exactly like above except for the windows and the monitor.

I'm still looking around for a decent 19" lcd monitor.
So all my stuff should be here by friday and hopefully runnning smooth by this weekend.

One question I have is do I need to flas this mobo with the newest bios or not?

Also if I do can you point me to the right direction?

considering your monitor issue there is a nice 19" BenQ 2ms monitor on NewEgg for $208 after MIR

It looks like the F4 bios update from Gigabyte has solved some issues with memory. Here's the link:

I just posted them even though you may not need to update your BIOS. Ask Rambo for info since I believe he has the same cpu and motherboard, but I think Corsair memory.
