Yes it probably could, but something like this would be a better card and only 10 bucks more because of free shipping.

The 2600s are still a mid range card not a high end 2900 for that series seeing the R600 chip. The 3870s are the high end for the next series presently seeing over $200 like I stated before except for running into the open box. Newegg right now seems to have been picked through clean on the lower priced ATI models.

If your going to go on a rant you could atleast get something you say right. Regardless of your opinion of PNY (you have proved in other post your opinion is not worth much). The 9600GT is alot better card.
Plus have you lost your mind (no 3870s for under 200 bucks execpt for opened box).
