Best PhysX Card Performance/Dollar

yea it always seems to go off on a massive tangent, or some kind of geeky keyboard warrior fight centered around "I know more than you" and 1-up-man-ship

I think I might burst SeN's bubble and ask him to go check out other threads where people have tried to sell their rigs. Unless he is willing to part his system out, he will end up selling nothing on here, everyone already has a system, and if they want another they can build their own, and everyone else that comes on after a system doesn't have enough posts to pm or post in the relevant section, not that most would buy off a forum where there is little buyer protection, unlike buying from a shop

But yea, physx cards :P I would go with the 9600GSO I posted earlier if it is bang for buck you are after. If you want something with a little more oomph though, look at an 8800 or 9800gt, or even a GTS250 (which is the same card as a 9800GTX+). They all go fairly cheap used
 
I think i've decided on the 9800GT because it is single slot, but.... grr I wish I could get my money faster.
I still don't have enough money to build a system.

Not quite as powerful as the 9800GT, but for the price new, that is a pretty damn good deal and plenty enough for a physx card

i'm well aware of how the buy/sell sections work... this isn't my first time on a computer related forum. i'm just simply trying to expand my array of commerce without people breathing over my back. but apparently that may be a bit too much to ask, because apparently to some, it makes sense to try and impress people i've never seen and only know me (barely) through the internet by the alias, "SeN" by having high post counts... right...

if nobody wants the item, i'm perfectly fine with that. i just don't want people giving me reasons to why they wouldn't buy it or anything. i'm not forcing anyone to purchase anything, if one is interested, then that person would contact, if not then just let it be. it's a rather simple concept. :o

and i do apologize for again going a bit off topic (again).
