Best place to buy a LapTop running 95

I have a problem and need a good laptop running windows 95. My old HP laptop gave up the goast! I work part time on motorcycles hopping up the Horse Power. The program I have will not down load to any computer not running 95. The program is $1500 to buy today so I would just as soon find a good 486 with windows 95 that could get for little or no money. Don't like eBay as have lost money buying there. I live ouside of Springfield, Ohio if someone knows local.

Why not just use a VM with Win95 inside of it?

95 had some protection errors and would randomly not boot unless you had the OSR2 patch on faster hardware >300MHz.

What is a VM, I know very little on computers. I do have a copy of 95 with the update disc

Microsoft's Windows 95 was a huge leap from Windows 3.

You can specify connected devices like USB be piped through to the host OS, but I'm not sure if you'd run into OS issues when using something like a serial adapter, especially since W95 needed some USB drivers to be added and wasn't natively supported.

How do you use the software with external devices, is it a RS232 port or something else?
