What would be the best possible proccesor availaible for under $60? I'll be using it for internet, music, basic stuff really. Some casual gaming. I'm building a super budget PC.

Um...do you already have a motherboard or something in mind? I mean we can make suggestions, but some motherboard/sockets cost more than others.

And sorry, no suggestions from me. Newegg's not loading for me. I think it's something with this "upgraded" internet we got.

ok then what is your budget for a motherboard and a cpu, that would probably be the easiest way to do it. But then again what do you need with that motherboard, I mean are you looking for one with integrated graphics. I mean is this just an upgrade on a current system you have, or for a whole new build.

Since he said light gaming, I would go with the AMD Sempron 2800+. It's a bit over your budget ($9), however it is a much better CPU when it comes to gaming and such.

Wow, are those really $9 dollars now?

I woulda' never thunk it a few days ago...but with AMD dropping mad prices like that! Sheesh!
