best program for audio files

Hi, been having loads of problems with my computer lately and itunes often seems to be at the stem of the problem, managed to get the computer running o.k at the minute..... until I try to open i tunes, never used to have a problem with itunes until recently, it must be removed, does anyone know of a better program for playing audio files?

Morning, What is wrong with using WMP?

as for other apps available, you may want to look into winamp

high, in general I despise most windows applications, I have vlc for playing video's, I have firefox for web as I can't stand i.e, but just wanted a program for audio files, itunes was good when it worked as I have about 7000 songs and it was good for keeping them organised, cheers, I shall have a look at win amp

cool beans, no problem! hopefully winamp will help you out unless someone else may have a better solution :good:

winamp, itunes, vlc and wmp would be the only apps that come to my mind at this moment : \

just had a look at winamp, looks ok but from what I can see I would have to pay to have the ability to burn cd's but haven't downloaded the free one yet, have you used it? do you have to pay to burn cd's?

it has been such a long time.. I really wouldn't know : \

jumping back to itunes, have you tried re-downloading the app to see if that helps with the previous problems you were having?

I have had to reformat the h.d.d about 5 times and freshly install windows as every program wouldn't work, this time everything exept i tunes is working which takes donkey's years if it decides to work at all
 
My problem with itunes now seems to be solved, after massive cooling problems with my computer, I changed my case to one with good airflow, this has brought my temps right down, and ever since then itunes has worked perfectly, I don't know if that was just coincidence and maybe an update solved it unknown to me, but thought I would update this in case it helps anyone else having this problem in the future, thanks to everyone for the help
