Best RAM Manifacturer

Hello everyone,
I want to upgrade my Laptop RAM to 2GB (DDR II). Well, I am in India and there are only a few RAM Manifacturers distributing here. I will be operating Windows Vista (32 bit) and will be using the laptop for Software Development, Surfing and Multi-tasking like running Music, MS Access, Internet Explorer and a Compiler at a same time. So I need a really good RAM. The RAMs available here are Transcend and Kingston. Which one is better out of the two? Please help me out...
Also how to find out which Manifacturers RAM is currently installed on the system?

Waiting for your help...

Everyone here will probably say Kingston is better. The Transcend stuff will be nothing special (I don't think they offer 'high performance' modules). The kingston will probably have better specs but your laptop most likely will not be able to set the timings/voltages necessary for that to make a difference.

Thanks for your replies and for CPUZ. I think I will go for Kingston as per your suggestions. Are there Mhz in DDR 2 RAM (465/600) ?

yes, there are different speeds, your best bet is to pick up some DDR2-667. your laptop probably only has 533 in it, but who knows, you might get lucky and be able to use the higher speed.

Yeah friend no doubt Kingston is better to use ..but at this time some other new rams are also produced which have the more size and having a good quality techniques work under some kind of good help..so i think you have to just gibes a look to others too,,may be some other ram will more supportive to your thinking..

Thanks for your replies and suggestions. I'll go for Kingston.
