If you mean new stuff, PC3200, and a good brand like Corseair, Geil, Kensington, etc...

Ah, that's ECC Registered Memory (primarily used in servers). Only useful if you're talking S940 Opterons (which are still an AMD processor, of course)

I do have to ask why you recommend 8GBs of RAM, even 4GB is overkill for ALMOST every application.
