Best Retail Store To Buy A New Laptop

Online is definitely the best choice, but if you must buy it at a retail store, I'd probably choose Best Buy just because they generally have the largest selection, but wait for sales. If you have any electronics stores though like Micro Center, those would be best.
 
I say look around for the store with the best/longest return/credit/refund privileges... one that won't give you grief or sock you with a restocking fee if the machine is defective. You need a decent amount of time to test the machine thoroughly. I've seen some places that give as little as 7 days.

I agree with this. I have always shopped bestbuy for my laptops because I get to see and play with the display model. Being able to have hands on with a display model is going to ensure that you like the look and feel of all the elements of the laptop.
