Are you trying to do text recognition and put figures in a table?
If that is the case, it is difficult just do text recognition. The success of that will depend on the original quality and there will inevitably be some manual editing to do. Having got a text document, there will be a huge amount of manual editing to get a usable spreadsheet.
Perhaps explain a bit more what you are trying to do.
