Best Skt 939

I'm soon upgrading, and am wondering what the best skt 939 CPU is. Which one is the best bang for the buck out there?
I don't plan on doing a huge upgrade, and I'm not a hardcore gamer, so I'm sticking with my AGP 8x 9600 SE card. I'm thinking about getting this motherboard:

I was looking at the 3200+, but I'm not sure if I should go with that or the 3500+.
My budget for both cpu and motherboard is $400.

well i would say the best bang for the buck is the +3000...you could then spend the money you saved and put it toward a new SLI mobo...thatd keep you set for a while.

the absolute best is going to be something like the fx-47, or the amd 64 X2 4600+, but they come in at $1,125 and $824 respectfully.

well looking at your choice of motherboard and your budget you should have plenty left to buy the 3500+ and have change. I suppose the question is wether or not you could use the cah you would save by buying a 3200+ on some other upgrade that may give a better perfromance increase than the jump rom 3200+ to 3500+. Overall there is not a huge difference between both of those processors

you mean the x2 4800 on the dual core eh?

as for best bang-buck.. some suggestions oc 101 and a general fresher in CPU 101.
