best sli mobo

Well, the ASUS A8N-SLI is a good one... Not sure if it is the best though

Gigabyte have some goodens too....

Last I checked. the alot of the reviewers gave it to ASUS. I think at that time, the point that pushed them over the top was simply. the sample boards they used for the review. ASUS had theirs running smoother than the others. in fact.. one if I remember.. they said something about flashing the board with its newest bios when they had first got it and had problems.. then when they reverted it back to the factory bios. it was fine...

personally Ive got an Asus board. not running SLI yet.. but may in the future. so since I was building a new gaming mechine and going AMD + PCI-E.. thought what the heck.. might as well get it with SLI possible. ya know?

what is the best sli mobo?
There isnt really an overall best. Certain boards excel in certain areas

the alot of the reviewers gave it to ASUS.
Good board (but a lot of people voted for Bush also) :P I love the baord but it has a limited clock spectrum

MSI "K8N Neo4 Platinum SLI"
and
DFI "LANPARTY nF4 SLI-DR"
Absolutely! :)

what is the best sli mobo?
A damn nice tie between the MSI K8N Neo4 and the DFI LanParty .... since most people wont be able to hit the overclocks you can get with the DFI Id say the MSI comes out on top (of course, a lot of people wont be able to hit those overclocks either so you're good to go)

Maybe as a Lifetime achievement or with the Via chipset but not so much with the NForce4s. I mean its a good mobo but is also a bit unconventional (with two slots in between the PCIe16 ports)

Dammit i hate re-replying to to thread....
