Best Software to Transfer Stuff to New Computer

I have an older Dell that runs on XP which is starting to act up, lock up and generally is dying I think.

So I purchased a new HP that has the XP Pro downgrade feature.

What is the best software out there to transfer my Documents, photos and programs to the new computer?

The easiest way is to use XP's own "Files and Settings Transfer wizard", you'll find it in System Tools. It allows the option of using a network cable, serial cable etc. The other option is to remove your hard disc from the old machine and slave it into your new one, then transfer the files over.

Thanks Dave (TFT). That is way too easy!! I presume one can be selective on which files one wants to transfer.
