Best value mobo?

I'm looking for the best motherboard that is going to work well with an Intel Core 2 Duo, be able to support up to 8GB of RAM, and up to a 1GB vid card (though I only plan to start out with 4GB RAM and 512MB vid card, i may upgrade later). Also, I'm looking for value. Is there a "popular" mobo out there that fits these requirements, that is generally not fussy and easy to install?

These are not stiff requirements for a mobo. As in, its hard to buy a mobo that can't do these things. Give us a price range and we can give you the best board in that price range.

ASUS makes decent boards, although that one seems to have pretty bad customer reviews. I'm sure that board would suit you fine. Here is my pick for a sub $100 board.
