Well, it all depends really, if you want a great DX9 card then the 7950GT is the way to go...

But if you plan on getting Vista and you want DX10, then the 8600 supports DX10, and to be honest it isn't such a great card.

If you want a DX10 card then I wouldn't go for anything lower than an 8800.

So, Yeah, In short, out of the cards I showed you, the 7950GT is the best one.

I own an XFX 8600GT and btw, it is a great card for gaming. + supports dx10

It was just that I looked at benchmarks of it and it didn't perform as well as a 7950GT... It is probably a great card still, be able to play most games on high settings.

I am planning on waiting till vista sp2 comes out so I by the time it comes out then I probably will have 2 get a new card.

Well, If you aren't getting Vista just yet, I would get the 7950GT, I have it and I have to say, it's amazing!

I don't think the 7950GT is under $150. For that price range I think you should get a 7600GT.

It's Canadian Dollars, but the price has gone up on Tigerdirect, I just looked, it used to be $149, it's now $189
