you can generally get an idea of that just by looking at the numbers, of course there are exceptions.

GPU review might have a way to list them as you want, but you can't really do this. Besides the acceptions (some older cards being better than newer ones) some could also be considered "technically" better than others due to say faster clock rates, newer support, etc... But in the long run, an older card might out perform it...
