Better computer

Hi guys, could any one recommend a gaming computer that is better than the one I currently have.

AMD Phenom II X4 940 4x
3Ghz
4GB RAM
Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series

I've seen some pcs on ebay going for around £500 but am not sure if they are better than the one I currently have.

Another question, if I can't get a new pc, is there a way I can get rid of everything on pc. Start afresh. Even uninstall windows (came with some hooky version than messes up occasionally)

£500 new machine won't be faster.

I think you should upgrade your video card, and get SSD drive for some improvement. What PSU you have got?

No idea, this pc was pre-assembled. Only way you can check is to open the computer, right?
The reason I'm asking is because this wasn't built for gaming, so I'm unsure whether there are better options out there.
