Which of these 2 is a better MOBO ?
Will I be able to use 2x 1gb RAM sticks with these ?

Let me know

ASUS A8V-VM SE Socket 939 VIA K8M890 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail $60.

----OR----

Foxconn 6150BK8MC-KRSHN2 Socket 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail $46.

Which is a better combo deal ?

I found some AMD CPU's that are 4000+ 2.4GHz
Does that make such a big difference when compared to the one mentioned above ?
Thanks

The Asus is probably a higher quality board, but the nvidia chipset is typically better chipset. I'd probably still go with the Asus, but the Foxconn would probably perform better, espscially if you stick with onboard video.

Thanks I was thinking the same thing.
I researched a little more and found this, this looks great.

DFI 662-TMG/G LGA 775 SiS 662 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
Intel Pentium D 805 Smithfield 2.66GHz LGA 775 Processor Model HH80551PE0672MN - OEM
combo for $125

The CPU has FSB 533MHz.
Does it really make a big difference to get a 1066MHz ?

If you are going to get this combo make sure you are you know what RAM you wana use.

The Pentium D 805 like you said only has 533MHz of FSB so no matter what RAM you get its going to Run at DDR 2700.

I would just forget about the Pentium D 805 all together.

good luck with your build
