Better video card or better processor?

i know people that play with p4's still and single amd's, like he said earlier, well written games utilize more GPU than CPU

I would go with GTS and E4500, if I were you

2.2ghz is getting on the slow side nowadays though. It's becoming the base spec, I'd consider upgrading the cpu first.

Overclocking is also a good choice if you decide to go low on the CPU. E4300 if you have a good OCing motherboard.
