I know these are cheap, but the MOBO that I am going to buy comes w/ Onboard Video Chipset.

Which are these are good, name a few ?
Which one of these is the best Video Card, name one ?
thanks

NVIDIA GeForce 6100
NVIDIA nForce 550 (not sure if this is a video card)
NVIDIA nForce 4 (not sure if this is a video card)
VIA DeltaChrome
VIA Chrome9
ATI Radeon Xpress 1200
ATI Radeon X300-based 2D/3D
S3 Graphics UniChrome Pro IGP
SiS Mirage1 Graphics

Which ones are good.
Thanks

Ok...well all of these are on board graphics chips and as such you wont notice much difference between if you try to do any gaming....they will all suck. To put it bluntly...but its true.

So if your doing nothing more than just email, and basic desktop stuff they are all pretty much the same.

However if i had to choose one i am lead to believe that the ATI Radeon X300 and NVIDIA GeForce 6100 are good. And your right...two of those aren't graphics cards :P

I saw a MOBO with this one on it, should I pay a few more bucks and get it.

nVIDIA GeForce 7025

Is this one much better then the ones listed above ?
Or will I not notice a difference
THanks

I'm not a gamer
But If I ever wanted to add a VIDEO CARD, would I be able with this MOBO ?

This board comes with a VIDEO CARD.
Will I be able to add a better VIDEO CARD in the FUTURE ?

Let me know

You cant run games with on board video unless its unreal tournament 1 on lowest settings
btw, Onboard graphics are bad but not too bad. Friend with Pentium D 2.66 512mb (pc2700) and onboard graphics ran Counter-strike source at medium settings normal res. and he got like 20-50FPS depending on whitch map some maps like CS_Office were unplayable though. Just trying to give onboard graphics the credit it deserves :)

Yeah, I don't play video games.
But lets say one day I wanted to add a VIDEO CARD to my MOBO, would I be able to ???

I would go with the nVidia 6100 or ATI x300 series, I would not go with VIA or any other brand video chipset.

And the nForce 550, 4, and 6 are chipsets, not video chipsets.

Thanks for the Great input and help.
I picked the Foxconn w/ the NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Video Card, listed above...
Now I need some RAM.
I want it to fit my budget,
I know the $93 XMS is easily the best, but is it necessary to spent that much
I mean I'm only spending $65 on the CPU and $45 on the MOBO listed above
Let me know which RAM would work best with my system n budget.

GSkill DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Cas Latency 5 Timing 5-5-5-15 $86
A-Data DDR2 800(PC2 6400) Cas Latency 5 Timing 5-5-5-18 $86
WINTEC AMPX DDR2 800(PC2 6400) Cas Latency 5 Timing 5-5-5-15 $86
OCZ DDR2 800(PC2 6400) Cas Latency 4 Timing 4-4-4-15 $90
XMS DDR2 800(PC2 6400) Cas Latency 5 Timing 5-5-5-12 $93

Now these below are slightly different and cheaper

WINTEC DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Cas Latency 5 Timing not listed $63
Corsair ValueSelect DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Cas Latency 5 Timing not listed $70
Super Talent DDR2 667 (PC2 5400) Cas Latency 5 Timing not listed $81

Is there a big difference from 667 to 800 ?
Is there a big difference from PC2 5300 to 6400 ?

What is a better timing,a lower number like 4-4-4-15 is better than 5-5-5-15?
Does it really make a difference ?

Let me know, with this I will Decide
THANKS

The OCZ DDR2-800 would be the best choice, but you need to make sure it's compatible with your motherboard. From the looks of it the RAM is running at 2.0-2.2v, so make sure your motherboard can accept that. The 965 chipsets can only have 1.8V RAM.

I have the x300 in my laptop with a Pentium M 2Ghz and 512Mb of ram. It can run CSS at 1024x768 on medium-high with full HDR and it's playable on all maps.
