I just don't know the difference between stream processing units and processor cores... Which one is the better card?

I like Nvidia's drivers way better than ATI, but if its a better card, I can deal with the drivers.

New build is most likely gonna have a bulldozer CPU, possibly the octocore.

On lower resolutions and games which are better on NVIDA some of the GTX 560 Tis may perform better than the HD6950 except that the HD6950 will smoke the GTX 560.

The HD 6950 is the superior card.

The drivers for the 6950 seem fine to me. I have not had any display driver issues since getting mine installed. Take the 6950.
