BF:BC2 crashes when I make a change

I have been playing BF:BC2 for several weeks now and it rarely crashes on me, only once because of a memory shortage. But every time I make a change to my computer, it will crash or the screen will turn white. For example, I plugged some headphones into the soundcard and instantly the screen would turn white and sometimes I would have to manually restart it. As soon as I unplugged them it would work fine. Today, I installed the drivers for my Logitech G9x mouse and it crashes to the desktop as soon as I try to join a server with no message either time. Now I have not uninstalled the mouse driver yet but I will bet money that is what is causing it to crash.

Anybody else experiencing this type of problem?

well you could always try a fresh install, then install all the drivers for everything then battlefield again. that might resolve a driver issue. or make sure all the drivers are up to date
