BF:BC2 memory problem

I am having a little problem while playing BF:BC2. While I am playing multiplayer, the game will freeze then the screen will turn white. I can still hear the background noise. This has happened to me twice now and the first time this happened, a message came up saying something about low memory, close other programs to free up memory. The second time it happened, I did not get that message. It just stayed on the white screen. Ctrl+alt+del would only make the screen turn black. I could not get back to the desktop. I just had to restart it.

Has anybody else had this problem? I am pretty sure this is a problem with the game as I have plenty of memory and I do not have any other programs running while playing.

I just tried to join another server and it did it again before it even loaded.

ctrl+alt+delete and open tastk manager.

Start the game up, go into a game, alt + tab out and see what the free memory is at. If it is extremely low or there isn't any, you know that there is an issue with the memory, even though 4GB should be more than enough

I got it figured out. I was not getting a message when it started crashing today. For some reason, hooking a set of headphones up to the soundcard was causing it to crash. Unhooked the headphones and hooked the speakers back up and now everything is fine.

It has crashed once before, several days ago with a message saying something about low memory which could have been a fuke. These two incidents have nothing to do with each other.
