BF BC2 Ranking up

Hey everyone, got this game a couple of weeks ago... I love it.

I am finding it a bit frustrating to level up, I seem to do this the best by using the assault pack in team deathmatch, can get like 5k points a round, anyone have any advice?

Things will speed up when you start getting the major 5000 pt ribbons. Also try using medic, you get 50 pts for reviving teammates.
 
Yeah, or throw your supply packs around, get some resupply points. Maybe it's cause I play Rush and Conquest, but if you hop in a tank and do some damage, you'll get some nice points. Or arm/capture repeatedly, get some pins, ect.
 
you also need to join a squad and try to communicate and play together. If you try to go solo in this game, it will most often then not fail horribly.

+1....Still alot of people going rambo by themself and no doing any teamwork whatsoever.

Im usualy a sniper,and if im on attackers il say to my team il try and cover them why they move in to arm the bomb..then when its armed il Mortar the enemy trying to disarm :P

Works well most of the time :D,BUT....then you get the odd game where most of your team is snipers so il be a Medic or Assult,You just got to think realy and use your common sense.

Pick a kit/weapon you like and stick with it. If you get the platinum award for a gun (1,000) kills you get 10,000(or something like that :P). Also each revive is worth roughly 50 points and around 10-20 per heal. I think it's 10-20 for resupply as well.
 
Urghh!

Im so angry,Logged in just to re-check my stats and it says i dont have any dog tags....i had like 56 or so! :eek:

what the hell :mad:

EDIT: Now they have appeared again? lol whats going on?

The stats come and go but never gets lost. There's been a few times where it says I'm level one, but it eventually comes back.
 
hey thanks for the advice, I joined squads in conquest, very fun... Im also leveling up much faster, 7 8 k points during certain games

Im still frustrating trying to use the heli , I cant fly worth crap

And commanders, bigger maps and 64 player supprot :D.

Basically it'd be a perfect game if they put BC2's engine onto BF2 maps. And maybe include the nerfed vehicles.
 
why is it than they removed that command thing? i mean where you can ask for ammo etc?

no I mean a commander on each team. Remember in bf2 you had to vote for a commander in the beginning of the round that does care packages, artillery strikes, UAVs etc? I mean they divided all the jobs among the classes, but a commander was really good at coordinating squads and promoting teamwork.
