BF2 menu problems

I just installed BF2 on a PC with Vista Ultimate. I don't know why, but the game menu areas are messed up. I can barely see any of the menus. The screen flashes and has lines and triangles going through the screens.

Here is the funny part, the single player game runs great. I put on punkbuster and the multiplayer game still won't work. Is all of this a problem because of Vista?

Any information would be helpful.

I can't even get EA to email me back.
 
Make sure you installed it by clicking "run as administrator". After that, try right clicking on the program icon, then go to properties, then compatibility, then tick the run as admin box. When you do this you give BF2 the right permissions so it can get online. I doubt this is the problem, but I've heard it helped a few people. I'm not sure if they were having the same problem as you though.
