No, you didn't miss it, there isn't one. Many people here choose not to run one. There's a Sticky for anyone who chooses to read it.

Buzz

One more question for you if you don't mind.If there was an AV in place with up to date definitions, would this have been caught or is it spyware?.Thanks.

Depends what you mean, there was a couple of problems. Nod32 may have caught something with it's heuristics, but if you notice, MS Antispyware and Spysweeper both missed it. As soon as the Good guys block it, the bad guys change it slightly so it gets through the protection, it's a constant battle.

Yeh.But i've seen some good tests where these programs are super with this type of spyware and brutal locating another. That's why i've come to realise, you can't have enough of these spyware scanners to make sure everything gets cleaned up.As long as they're legitimate scanners mind you.

You could have every program in existence, some things will still get through, the bad guys have got the advantage of writing it and putting it out there before anyone can act to stop it.

Okay.I see what you mean. There always going to be that risk of infection no matter how well equipped you feel you are.Just goes with the territory i guess.
