Big Problem!!!! Help!!!

Everytime I boot my computer up, It loads fine through to the Windows Xp Boot Screen and then the screen goes black and the computer restarts and it just cycles through like that. What is goin on!!!! Help!!!!

the things that come to my mind are...

some hardware overheating
virus in the boot sector
windows has become currupted

If not a hardware issue I personally would reinstall windows but that means loosing any personal stuff you havent backed up.

^ +1, if you can connect the hdd into another computer and get any data you wanna save and store it on that computer or burn it to dvd, then put it back in the other computer and format it

My cousin had that same problem! On his Dell Studio lappy, What he did is just restore Vista or in your case XP.
