big problem with google chrome browser

hello i have been using google chrome for some time
now i find a big problem with it. I don't know if I haven't set something correctly or not.

A few hours ago I downloaded a video file on web which was about 600MB, when it reaches about 55% something. My physical LAN wire got carelessly unplugged which led to disconnection to the internet. Then the downloading of the file stopped at 55% but the google chrome, just doesn't show any error messge or any text / words to state that the file was not downloaded completely.... it just seems like downloaded perfectly. Oh my God. Can anyone tell me if it is my problem or I have to install any plugin to fix this problem?? I am not asking for resume of download or something, I just think I need an error message or windows telling me that the downloading of files are stopped without completion.. something like that. Then I will know and re-download it. Please
 
Try either using a different browser like firefox, or if you really want to stick with chrome use a download manager then if you get cut off you don`t lose your download it will just pick up the next time you connect to the internet.
 
That's... Not really a big problem. Did you realize that it became unplugged? If so, then you know that the PC will lose Internet access, and you know the download will stop. To fix that:

Plug the Ethernet back in
Restart the download
