I have a Fujitsu Siemens V2030 laptop with 2GB ram installed instead of 256mb standard.
The CD drive on the laptop does not work. I had problems on the laptop when i had XP installed and i could not re-install with the disc (as the cd drive doesnt work). I'm not sure if the laptop can boot from USB. Then Windows 7 Beta came out and i installed that as the main OS as i did not need to use the CD drive, but now the beta has expired

To avoid interruption, you'll need to rebuild your test machine using a valid version of Windows before the software expires. Windows will notify you that the expiration process is beginning and two weeks later your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. The Beta expires on August 1, 2009, and bi-hourly shutdowns will begin July 1, 2009. The RC will expire June 1, 2010, and the bi-hourly shutdowns will begin on March 1, 2010. In both cases, you'll need to rebuild your test PC to replace the OS and reinstall all your programs and data."
I cannot install XP or Vista when logged on using a virtual cd drive because it says that the windows 7 is newer and thus cant downgrade, plus i cant install from booting up as my CD drive doesnt work
How could i install XP or Vista onto the laptop ?
i have other computers and laptops that i could possibly plug the drive into (dont know how please tell me), and install using them maby?
