Big Problem

Hello everybody, I have a problem - otherwise I wouldn't be here lol!
My PC doesn't start, it simplely has been carefully cleaned with a brush, because my fan was dusty, and then there is nothing to do, it refused to start! Moreover a resistor was missing on my printed circuit of my power supply, is it normal?
Please forgive me for my horrible english expression, I'm French.
Please help me !!

PSU PCBs are often not fully populated with components, i.e. there are spots where it looks like capacitors, resistors, etc... could fit. This is not abnormal.

What is happening when you try to turn on the PC? Do any of the fans spin, etc...? If not, make sure that both the 20/24pin ATX main and 4pin ATX12V are firmly plugged into the motherboard, and that the power switch is also plugged into its correct position. You may have dislodged one of these while cleaning.

How do you know that there is something missing from your PSU? Your PSU should be closed, or did you open it to clean it? What happens when you try to start the computer.

Me too im curious too..., haha .. i just got my A+ certificate so let me try some of it out lol

1) when did u decover it stoped working and what were u doing piror to it?
2) did it stop working after u cleaned it or ...?

3) from what i've learnt If the computer wont start up at all its most likely to be a PSU problem ... if u've changed that and tested it out the mobo
