big trouble for installing windows in laptop?

Hi all

lets cut the story short, i have a acer laptop which has corrupted windows xp and here comes the problem that is cd/dvd drive doesnt work in this laptop so i thought i should try USB installation but bad luck i checked bios and it does not have the options for usb/removable device bootup. so i am stuck. few questions:-

Is it possible to share the dvd/cd drive of other dell/acer laptop?(i have 3laptops from which:1 is this broken one)

i heard about network installtions but do not know how to make it work as i cant able to boot windows in acer laptop

what should i do????
 
If the laptop doesn't support booting to a usb device then your out of luck and will need to get the dvd drive replaced or buy a new laptop.
