Bigger PSU for computer

Hi there I just wanted to know if a 500 watt PSU would fit into my dell dimension 3000 http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0226865 , because I want to get this graphics card http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2918660&body=MAIN#detailspecs , and how can i check if I have the right voltage????

I thought dell's uses its own parts? If so, I doubt it'll work. As for voltage, that powersupply accepts both 120v and 220v, so you don't have to worry about it.

And also, you don't really need a new powersupply for a x1550...it's not a powerful card and it doesn't draw that much power. And are you sure your computer uses low profile PCI? If not, you'll need a full size videoc ard.

Yes, I thought Dell's PSUs were not replacable with any type of generic PSU...
