Bigger words

Hi can someone tell me how to make the words bigger on my screen?Before it was alt/mouse or ctrl/mouse.But it wont work now.Any ideas? thanks maggs:confused:
 
Try holding do ctrl and using the middle button in the mouse to scroll, or go to view, zoom and then choose te size.

Hi callum i have tried this but it wont work,In the middle of my mouse it has a wheel.Ihave tried rolling the wheel But its not having any of it.
 
Are you using a web browser and trying to make the words bigger or is it word or something?
If you are using internet explorer 6 then go to the view menu, text size and change it to the size you want.
Like here:

Thanks callum thats sorted it.Callum you seem to know a lot about computers,I am suppose to be buying one from a friend If i tell you all about it.Memory.hardrive etc.Will you tell me if its worth bothering with?I only no at the moment.Its packardbell.Hummer.40 gb hardrive.It has dvd,player.dvd rewriter.intel celeron.proccessor.She bought it last yr.What else should i ask?Thats if you dont mind.
 
So it has 40GB hardrive, what type of celeron processor does it have, how mach ram does it have,its not too old and a dvd rewriter is good. It depends on what the processor is, how much ram it has and how much she wants for it.

I know she wants £260 for it.£280 with carrying case.She is going to let me have the booklet with all what its got on it.will it have in the booklet? Its windows Xp home adition.I am just waiting for her to get back to me.I know she bought it last yr.She is a genuine person.She did say she knows nothing about them her mother bought for her.
 
Im not sure that that is a very good deal but if you want to buy it you could. You could get a celeron processor, 1GB ram, dvd rewrite and an 80GB harddrive which sounds like this one with a bigger hard drive and more ram for £115 on ebay. The only thing it doesnt have is dvd rewrite but that wouldnt cost much more. Im not sure that its worth it but mabye, up to you.

Calum i have had a look on ebay.I will be there all day.They all look the same to me.I dont know what i am looking for.If you see a bargain on there will you let me know.Its for my daughter for christmas.So it would have to be in ex con.With case etc Hope you dont mind callum I really apreciate your help.Thanks maggie
