Hell, where I live most of the kids I know are rich... some are just filthy rich:(.

I have a lot of rich friends and I act completely normal around them. I don't smooze money off of them or anything, and I work hard to get my money.

What I'm trying to say is that I know that most of the kids in my school have a good amount of money behind them, but I don't envy them.
 
While money in itself wouldn't make me happy, I do have a lot of very expensive hobbies, such as flying light aircraft. In the UK, it costs me around £130 ($240) for every hour in the air. So while extra money in itself would bring me no happiness, it'd allow me to enjoy my hobbies a fair bit more.

What is always the danger, though, is when money changes people's personalities, that I would never want, but you often see that with people who are new to wealth.

Dude, his life does suck. I mean, he is the one who made the infamous Windows XP. Think how much sleep he loses everynight knowing he made Xp, seriously, that would suck.

I believe money is a plague. There are many kids in my grade that believe they are better than the middle class kids such as myself just because they have an 8K+ sq. ft. house.

I've learned to ignore this, but it is just amazing what a green piece of paper (or a lot of them) can do to someone...
 
Everyone just hates him for his billions. Go figures...
Oh, hes rich... this that this that.. he's stingy.. blah blah..

It's like a cycle.. he's hated because he's rich. he's rich because people buy his software. He probably dont like the publicity because a lot of people hate him.
 
Man, if i get hated by one person, it really sucks, but by....lots of people, that would really suck. Jealousy bites....
