Binding a key to insert a string of text

Hello All.
I'm looking for a way, maybe a program, to hit a key and have it insert some text.
Like; you have a word doc open and you press maybe Ctrl + E and it pastes your email adress

One thing found right away on this deals with keyboard bindings in Swing. Have a look at the link here for the Sun Developer Network instructions. http://java.sun.com/products/jfc/tsc/special_report/kestrel/keybindings.html

There is also instructions for use in Java at http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/misc/keybinding.html

The above offer the products along with the tutorials. See if those will work.

I dont know what the Java things are, but this looks like a job for MACROS!

The java thing is confusing, but thank for the response.
Macro was a word i wanted to use in the original post, but wasn't sure if it was what i was looking for. i'll go dig around, thank you.
