Bing and Microsoft Edge

Would somebody PLEASE tell me how to stop Bing and Microsoft Edge from popping up? I searched the internet and have tried everything but nothing has worked thus far. Thank you!

Change your default browser to whatever you want to use. Is bing coming up in all browsers or just edge?

Yes. No matter which browser I set as default, it keeps popping up and driving me nuts!!!

Change your default search engine of the browser.

Do you have the Bing Wallpaper app installed? I noticed it changes the default search engines to Bing when installed.

Another thing: If you are doing web searches from the taskbar or start menu, they open in Edge and Bing by default, and there's no dependable way to change it.

I don't have the Bing Wallpaper app installed.

I tried that but I couldn’t uninstall Edge

Edge is actually part of the OS now, like IE was which can't really be uninstalled. So where do you actually stand now with your issues so we can get an update.
