I still have the Bing toolbar on Internet Explorer 8.I have searched for ways to get rid of it and have tried to use the ways described to get rid of it.But every time I try one method,it looks like Bing doesn't even exist or is present on my computer. For example,if one method tells me to do so and so and then click remove on the Bing icon, then there is no Bing icon at all to remove.

But there is still the Bing toolbar in my Internet Explorer page. How do I get rid of it?Is it really spyware and will it be harmful if I don't remove the Bing toolbar from Internet Explorer?

Bing is not Spyware. It's just the browser add-on for Microsoft's Bing search engine.

Did you check Programs and Features to see if you can uninstall it?

You mean Programs and Features in Windows 7?Tried but Bing not listed there.

Not trying to be rude or anything, but sometimes they'll put something in front of the word "Bing" so that it doesn't alphabetically show up where you'd expect it. In Programs and Features, you might want to try using the search function and typing in Bing, just to make sure. I've missed some toolbars I meant to remove from parents computers when they weren't titled what I expected.

If it truly is a addon bar try Autoruns and in the search box enter the word Bing and see if it shows up. If so, right click the entry and delete. https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Hijackthis can nail down this kind of thing too. http://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/

Save the logfile and upload here to analyze. http://www.hijackthis.de/en

HJT will remove it from the registry, not the toolbar itself.
The OP needs to uninstall it, from the programs menu.
