to install the new sp2 for xp I need to find out if my pentium 4 is compliant with my bios does anyone know how to find out if it is?

1. You dont have to do such thing
2. Your Pentium 4 IS complient with your bios otherwise your machine wont boot up
3. Just install (if you want to), SP2 as you would normally. There are no firmware issues to be concerned about

if you're going to install SP2, take the 3rd too ...it's out now

SP3 .. some companies did the sp3 with the missing fixes (here in germany/austria) for win xp
