Hi, welcome to ComputerForum. :)

I'm sorry but I don't think we can help you.

While you have a legitimate problem, other people could look at the same information and use it for something not so legitimate.

Sorry.

I hope you get it resolved. :)

Thank you :)
But why u said "we", maybe ther some people that can give a help. So dont general all!!
plz.

I believe you! I am afraid you will have to open up your pc! You have to either switch the little switch on the motherboard or you will have to take out the little battery for a couple of seconds and then put it back in.

Laptops are extremely secure when it comes to BIOS passwords. You will most likely not be able to unlock it yourself. you may have to send it to Dell. As long as you can provide proof of ownership, they will unlock it.

Oops misread and didnt see that it was a laptop! I dont know about laptops but im sure they are much harder to reset! Good luck

sometimes pulling the cmos battery out for a bit works, some times not, depending on the laptop some have jumpers that will reset the bios, and some not.. on an ibm thinkpad i had to pull the motherboard out solder 2 wires to a certain chip like the eeprom make a connector to connect via serial port on the back of my desktop power up the laptop use a memory dumping program to dump the information from the eeprom download a program that could read the information and scrol through till i could make out the password

He said 'we' becuase 'we' all agreed to abide by the Forum Rules when we signed up to CF (and so did you!), which mention password cracks and any way to gain shady (illegal) access to a system. Rules 1 and 2, while not specifically mentioning password recovery, touch upon this. Link below...
