BIOS DRAM Problem

I want to start to OC my new x2 dual core processor. When I change the DRAM configuration from auto to manual in BIOS so I can max out the ram I get stuck at "verifying DMI pool data". I didn't even change the RAM settings just changed it to manual. Why would this change have this result?

TIA, Jim

Seems like your board isn't very overclockable :)

Or your memory is just crap at overclock. (Promos and D9's right?)

I've OC'd my single core before.

The weird thing is I didn't even change any of the actual RAM settings, I only changed it to manual so that I can change the settings later.

Any other ideas?
